Reflections from Kalaty is the first washable wool collection showcased at Las Vegas Market.
LAS VEGAS -- Kalaty took the wraps off a brand new construction at Las Vegas Market, July 26-30, introducing rug buyers to Reflections -- an innovative washable wool lineup, a first among major domestic rug brands.
The new Reflections collection grows Kalaty's Wash-Ables series (which includes Merzglyphs and Sportsglyphs II from the licensed Katie Merz program, and Cascade) and is hand-tufted of 100 percent wool with a multi-texture pile in tonal colors. The introduction is a first for not only Kalaty but also for any major US rug manufacturer, Michael Kalaty, told RugNews.com, adding that he expects Reflections to be a major success with clients seeking more natural and organic fibers in a performance quality.
