JD Staron Picks Up Best in Flooring ICFF Editors Award

JD Staron took home an ICFF Editors Awards in the flooring and carpet category at the 2023 event held May 21-23 at the Javits Center in New York.

NEW YORK -- New York bespoke area rug studio JD Staron was awarded a 2023 ICFF Editors Awards in the flooring and carpet category at the contemporary furnishings fair, held May 21-23, at the Javits Center in New York.

JD Staron, which has a showroom located at the New York Design Center, 200 Lexington Ave., also was recognized at the 2022 ICFF earning an IFDA Selects Award, Best in Flooring award.

For the 2023 show, JD Staron showcased several new hand-crafted designs including plush high-low Pure collection pieces; Needlepoint, which re-invents needlepoint rugs in a contemporary manor, and Modern Antiques, a hand-knotted assortment merging modern design elements with classic motifs. The ICFF Editors Awards recognize the top designs in 12 categories: body of work, new designer, furniture, seating, carpet and flooring, lighting, outdoor, materials, wallcoverings, accessories, kitchen and bath and booth.
