Nourison Home's Alexander Peykar met with market-goers at a private preview of FORME, a new collection of freeform, sculptural rugs designed by Peykar and the first collection under Alexander P, a new Nourison Home label for the company's highest-end designer lines.

Nourison Home's FORME collection IHFC showroom debut.
Each design is handcrafted in New Zealand wool and silky nylon with hand-carved, high-low textures, and can be customized in size, shape and colorway. Over drinks, Peykar spoke with guests about the inspiration behind the collection and his approach to the rug as a design object.
Peykar described FORME as "Rugs with the presence of sculpture, experienced not simply as floor coverings, but as works of textile art." Featuring expressive freeform silhouettes, layered detailing, and luxurious hand-tufted construction, the collection explores shape, movement, and dimension.
