RugNews.com curates the not-to-be missed rugs at spring High Point Market.
HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The spring 2026 edition of High Point Market is shaping up to meet area rug buyers’ expectations for product presentations designed to boost rug sales with a range of styles, price points, and events.
In addition to an extensive new product launch Surya is celebrating its silver anniversary on Saturday night, with a party marking 50 years of “craftsmanship, creativity, and partnership with the design community. Reaching this milestone is both humbling and inspiring,” says Satya Tiwari, president.
Nourison Home is “heading into High Point with strong momentum," Alex Peykar, president, told RugNews.com. "Our appointment calendar is full, and we’re seeing genuine enthusiasm from retail partners across all tiers. We’re projecting steady, consistent growth as we build on the momentum of our expanding handmade and Reserve offerings."
"We project strong, steady growth for the first half of 2026 and our expectations for the spring 2026 market are exceptionally high," said Ori Wilbush, founder S&H Rugs. "We are seeing a massive shift in interior design toward pieces that offer historic character but fit seamlessly into modern, transitional spaces.”
Another upbeat projection comes from Reza Momeni, co-founder Momeni, who shared, “We’re feeling very optimistic about spring market. Appointments have been very encouraging. We’re seeing solid interest from buyers and designers who are looking for products that feel fresh and distinctive. There’s also continued enthusiasm around broadloom and customization, which remains an important area of growth for us.”
Tamarian also expects a “Healthy turnout for this year's market as we have teamed with several other importers to offer a "mini rug show". Our usual visitors have all checked in and despite a down trend in overall market attendance, dealers that are selling our rugs still find it important to visit market and interact in person,” said Ned Baker.
