ORIENTAL WEAVERS NAMES BATTLES

DALTON, GA– Monica Battles has joined Sphinx by Oriental Weavers as regional vice president – west.
Battles will be based in Seattle, with responsibility for the eleven western states from Arizona to Montana, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Battles comes to Sphinx from Nourison where she was most recently the account manager for five US states in the northwest as well as British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.
With over 15 years of retail and industry experience, Battles was also a regional sales manager for MLC Flooring, and moved up the ranks at Carpet Exchange from sales associate to regional manager.
“We are pleased to have Battles on board leading the west region,†said Pat Muschamp, vice president of sales of Oriental Weavers, USA, Inc. “Her proven success as an account manager and her retail management experience will be a tremendous asset to our organization and to the continued growth of our western region.â€
Founded in 1991, Dalton-based Oriental Weavers USA, Inc. is a division of Oriental Weavers Group, a multi-national collection of companies formed in the 1970s and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt.
