NEW YORK – Zollanvari returns to COVER Connect New York, the premier annual trade fair for high-end rug brands, from Sept. 13-15, 2025, debuting a range of fresh area rug designs.
For the fourth consecutive year, Zollanvari will be located at Booth M05 in the Metropolitan Pavilion, where it will present a collection that celebrates the fusion of age-old craftsmanship and contemporary design.
This year showcase is a powerful testimony to the ingenuity of the artist, the intuitive savoir-faire of the weavers, and the enduring art of weaving itself. At the heart of Zollanvari's CCNY presentation will be the a new collaboration with Seattle-based designer Carmen Carbone Andonian.
Driven by an desire to innovate and surprise, Zollanvari will introduce her new The Pacific Northwest collection, which is inspired by the region’s “dramatic mountain ranges, diverse waterscapes, countless islands, and four distinct seasons.” It features five unique designs that evoke a sense of place and artistry: Rainier Flowers, Alki Beach, Columbia River, Palouse Autumn and Neah Bay.

Carmen Carbone Andonian is a multifaceted visual designer with a career spanning over 30 years and her design studio, Carbone Design, specializes in branding, graphic design, user experience design, and textile and handwoven rug design. In addition to her professional work, she is an adjunct professor at the Center for Design, Media, and Technology at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.

Further highlights on display include three new interpretations of the celebrated Flower Meadow collection in the Zollanvari Super Fine Gabbeh quality, a creation of Zollanvari Studio. The booth will also showcase magical new additions from the Gabbehs Landscapes collection, including Naïve Landscapes of my Fatherland 9b and Landscapes of my Fatherland 45. Visitors can also explore a variety of new runners, such as the Flower Meadow runner, Winter Rainfall in denim runner, and the dynamic Art Deco Shibori runner from the award-winning Kyoto collection. In addition to these woven pieces, Zollanvari will present new coffers and chests, as well as additions to its collections of porcelain and wood home décor accessories.
