Steelyard Partners with High Point Market Authority, Introduces High Point at Home

Designer digital sourcing platform Steelyard is partnering with the High Point Market Authority to help exhibitors showcase their April market introductions.

TAMPA -- Steelyard, the largest digital sourcing platform for designers, is partnering with the High Point Market Authority to help exhibitors showcase their April market introductions to thousands of interior design professionals who specify products for hundreds of thousands of projects annually.  

 

Dubbed High Point at Home, the project allows brands and manufacturers who exhibit at High Point Market and who actively work with the design trade, a free online platform to present their new products, offer their market sales promotions and provide showroom videos, all at no charge. Current Steelyard rug vendors include Harounian Rugs International (HRI), Nourison and Rizzy Home, with more expected to be added soon, according to the company.

 

"Our mission has always been to connect designers and brands, to facilitate positive relationships and to uplift the whole home furnishings and design industries," noted Steelyard CEO Shawn Hughes. "In this most unusual time, we have the opportunity and ability to help our industry stay well-connected and moving forward."

 

High Point at Home will launch in late April, giving brands time to produce their new product photography or showroom videos and to develop the sales promotions they intended to offer as part of the April 2020 High Point Market. Brands can exhibit their visual and promotional assets on a special website operated by Steelyard. From there, vetted professional designers will have access to view, source and specify those products, along with being able to interact directly with a brand for additional information, to schedule an appointment with a rep or to work with a sales service team. Steelyard will use its established programming and platform to make the upload of visuals and content simple and appealing.  It will leverage its substantial marketing capabilities to promote High Point at Home's participants and products to thousands of vetted North American design professionals.  Steelyard's secure platform is not available to consumers.

 

High Point at Home is being offered at no charge to either brands or design professionals because, as Hughes comments, "We are committed to supporting the market, design-focused brands and the interior design community. We believe through partnership theres success, for everyone."
