WOODBURY, N.Y. -- Stanton Carpet Corporation, a leading supplier of high-quality decorative carpet and area rugs, hires a new CFO, a senior director of marketing, and promotes two from within to position the company for future success.

"With Stanton's current and future growth initiatives, entry into LVP, decorative commercial and continued innovation in soft surface we are excited at these milestone hires and promotions to enhance and grow our in-house talent to stay ahead of demand and exceed our goals," stated Jonathan Cohen, CEO of Stanton, in making the announcement.

The company's new hires and promotions are as follows:

Andrew Sanft joined Stanton in February of 2021 as new chief financial officer with outstanding high level financial and executive experience that will be a great long-term asset to position the company for future growth. Previous positions include CFO at Marquee Brands, EVP and CFO at Luxury Optical Holdings, VP financial planning & analysis at Ann Inc. and VP finance at Victoria's Secret Beauty. Sanft's leadership is expected to help further support the company's return-on-investment goals.

Christine Zampaglione joined Stanton in late 2019 as new and quickly pivoted its overall marketing strategy to amplify digital channels, further define the brands and improve marketing initiatives across the board. Her restructuring and vision of the marketing department, coupled with extensive knowledge of digital marketing has elevated the company’s digital presence and quality of messaging. Her marketing career extends back over 25 years working in the home furnishings space; most recently as director of marketing for Kravet Inc. where she was instrumental in launching CuratedKravet.com, an ecommerce platform that sells home furnishings exclusively to the trade for Kravet Inc.

John Rocconi

Newly promoted to senior director hard surface, John Rocconi joined the Stanton team in January 2019 to assume the role of sales and marketing operations director, a new position. Former sales and product management experience at Mannington positioned Rocconi to be able to provide crucial support and direction on a multitude of company initiatives. He has been instrumental in helping lead Stanton's successful entrance into hard surface with the introduction of Decorative Waterproof Flooring in January 2020, and this promotion reflects his further and intricate involvement with all aspects of Stanton's hard surface growth plans.

Adam Feldberg

Adam Feldberg, promoted to senior director product and innovation, previously held the position of product development manager where he was responsible for all brands under the Stanton umbrella including Antrim, Hibernia, Crescent, Rosecore and Stanton. Feldberg began his career with the company in July 2016 when Stanton acquired his family business, Crescent Carpet. In his new role, Adam will continue to push the capabilities of design and innovation for the individual brands while further developing fiber technology with Stanton's supply partners across the globe.
