NEW YORK -- S&H Rugs makes its COVER Connect New York debut this fall and introduces its latest handcrafted rugs that blend tradition with modern, including a reimagined bird motif and updated Oushak patterns in trending colors.

S&H Rugs presents a broad range of recently developed designs and hand-knotted weaving techniques at the upcoming fall edition of CCNY. Among the highlights is a reimaged bird motif, using sparrows instead of traditional Persian peacocks, and an abstracted crocodile pattern crafted of pure silk.

The company is also introducing brand new Oushak designs, which remain a client favorite, that feature different and trending color combinations.

Additionally, the latest introductions include hand-crafted zero-pile pieces colored with vegetable dyes, and offering a distressed, antique look and texture. These debuts include one-of-a-kind rugs and in-stock options.

NATURE PREVAILS: GREENS AND BROWNS RISE AS GRAYS FADE AWAY

Closely following the major color trends in design, S&H has continued to grow its selection of nature-inspired color palettes including hues of brown and green. While gray was once a governing player in the design scene, designers are now pursuing more vibrant and earthy alternatives.

"Although the market is experiencing a change in its number-one-color story, shades of blue have been holding their own and remain a popular and reliable option," says Ori Wilbush, S&H principal. Still selling steadily, blue palettes remain a favorite for the calm and tranquility they add to interiors, he explains.

"S&H Rugs is delighted to be a participant at Cover Connect from September 14th-16th in NYC. Being located alongside 44 other exhibitors makes the show a go-to destination for hand-knotted rugs," Wilbush says.
