Rug buyers shopping New York Home Fashions Market will get a chance to browse Harounian Rugs International's dramatically increased machine-made assortment (read full story). The company recently relocated its New York showroom to a much larger airy showroom with plenty of room to display new designs.

Kas Rugs bring a trio of fresh looks to market. Corsica is machine woven in what Kas dubs a "trendy traditional" style. Made of 100 percent polypropylene frisée yarn in India, Corsica features a. 3/4-inch pile height. The new Mediterra is a machine woven 100 polypropylene frisee yarn but produced in Turkey with a 1/2-inch pile height.
The company also adds a tonal transitional collection called Landscapes. It is made in Turkey of pure polypropylene with a 1/2- inch pile height.
LINON/POWELL

Linon will offer New York Home Fasihions shoppers everything from Greek flokati rugs in multiple weights and colors, to oversized cowhides from Brazil to hand-tufted rugs with constructions ranging from all wool, wool and viscose blend, poly/acrylic, to a microfiber polyester and power-loomed rugs in all categories, with prices ranging from $39 to $299 retail. The company will also showcase its Linon made in the U.S. remnant rugs.
In addition, Linon is offering existing as well as new customers many packages of overages and closeouts for the first time.

Mohawk Home features a two printed collection at New York Home Fashions Market, including Naisha A from the Japanese textiles inspired Shibori collection.
Mohawk, which always offers New York Home Fashions Market attendees plenty of newness choses to highlight two printed collections this fall. The printed Bella is inspired by French design in a range of sun washed and weathered color palettes that include indigos, aquas, soft citron and blush. The printed Shibori range, based on the ancient Japanese textile dye technique, features classic indigo and white color combinations, but is available in other colors as well.
MOMENI

Momeni debuts the California collection of bold graphic flatweaves.
"Our customers at NY Home Fashions market tend to come to us with very specific requests," Rachel Fasciani, director of marketing, noted. "They're looking for items that are higher fashion focused, collections that are created with innovative construction techniques and interesting interpretations of trends."
The company plans on having plenty of fresh looks on hand including it's new flat-woven California range and the new Villa collection from Novogratz by Momeni.

Natco offers shoppers plenty of trendy looks for buyers including this plush global design from its new Draper collection.
Natco Home brings three new collections to market in a range of constructions. The Corso collection incorporates an ultra-soft heat set polypropylene fiber and each rug is carefully designed to give the look and feel of silk. Corso is woven in the U.S. on state-of-the-art power looms. The new Draper collection, made of plush, soft 100 percent space dyed polyester yarns in China, features sophisticated patterns in fashion forward colors. And, finally, inspired by the rich look of wool flat-woven rugs, Natco's New Zealand collection is uses the company's advanced weaving technology whereby a tri-color yarn system made of 100 precent polypropylene is cabled and heat-set. New Zealand, made in Natco's Main facility, is suitable for indoors and out.

Nourison is highlighting tribal, bohemian, and southwestern themes in colorful palettes at the fall edition of New York Home Fashions Week (read full story). New collections include: Navajo collection incorporates southwestern style with geometric designs, and Baja flatweaves features tribal influences, including Moroccan, ikat and kilim trends in warm, sunny colors with a multicolor fringe finish. Also the Passion collection of bohemian looks debuts several new designs in shades of blue, gray and ivory.
On Wednesday Sept.13 at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nourison will introduce its new Portfolio by Nourison -- a collaboration between the company and designers Kim Scodro, Scot Meacham Wood, Woodson and Rummerfield, Shay Geyer, and Catherine and Justine Macfee.

Nuloom, which opened its showroom for the first time last spring to New York Home Fashions Market shoppers will display its signature fashion forward assortment of area rugs. It introduces the Sequined collection of loomed and tufted pure wool rugs featuring metal sequins. Made in India, the range features a suggested retail price of $469 for 5x8and $829 for 7' 6" x 9' 6".

Orian is bringing its new bohemian-inspired Free Spirit collection to fall 2017 market. The collection features a quirky, eclectic style and lends vintage designs a modern twist with color. The Free Spirit collection incorporates traditional, abstract, geometrics and tribal designs.
ORIENTAL WEAVERS

Oriental Weavers always offers market shoppers plenty of unseen before designs during New York Home Fashions Market. Show buyers can expect to find the new Beckett collection, machine made of 100 percent polypropylene in the U.S. The range of global traditional patterns features more than 50 shades of color in sun washed mineral shades such as slate blue, warm clay, soft moss green blue agate and cinnamon. It carries an MSRP of $600 in 5'3" x 7'6".
Astoria will also make a debut. This collection is also machine made in America of polypropylene but features a textured barber-poled yarn. Colors include paprika, Robin's egg blue, saffron gold, peacock, chocolate and bright olive green. Astoria designs range from distressed traditionals and abstracts to global patterns and tribal motifs. MSRP is $599 in 5'3" x 7'6".
RIZZY HOME

Rizzy Home features its abstract Mod collection of hand-tufted rugs at New York Home Fashions Market.
At its 295 Firth showroom, Rizzy Home will present products from licensing partners Donny Osmond Home and Simply Southern -- and its growing assortment of machine-made rugs. At the top of the line for New York Show shoppers is the Mod collection of hand-tufted rugs in modern abstract designs and on point fashion color combinations. The contemporary line features cut/uncut multiple textures and hand carving in 80 percent wool, and 20 percent viscose for accent highlights. But the focus says Steve Roan, managing director for the Americas, will be machine-made rugs targeted to large retailers. "It's going to be an interesting market for us. We've made significant strides targeting large box retailers and e-commerce accounts in the last year, and the new product we'll be showing in New York is designed to show very well online," he says, adding, "the strategy has paid off and, based on growth in 2017, we're projecting 2018 is going to be a very good year for Rizzy."
SAFAVIEH

Safavieh, which hosts New York shoppers in its downtown store at 902 Broadway, continues to introduce fashion forward rugs in a palette of lively colors. The debuting Aria collection, made in Turkey, reworks classic design motifs in modern color combinations. The range is further enhanced in the stained-glass etching of the field and subtle antique-patina. Power loomed using supple synthetic yarns, Aria carries a retail price of $457 in 5' 1" x 7' 6".
The New York-based company also introduces Savannah with a price of $457 in 5' 1" x 7' 6 and power loomed in Turkey. Savannah is designed with one eye on classic Persian rug artistry and the other on fashion-forward interiors. Aria features a contemporary look steeped in heirloom qualities and in the spirited colorways highlighing the collections medallion motifs, floral accents and geometric border. A distressed patina adds a marvelous accent to the power loomed, synthetic yarn pile in this price-smart, trendy transitional floor covering.
