HRI DEEP DIVES INTO MACHINE-MADE RUGS WITH 19 COLLECTIONS LAUNCHING AT LAS VEGAS MARKET

Harounian Rugs International will roll out 19 promotionally priced machine-made Wilton collections at the upcoming Las Vegas Market. Shown is Mackay in pale blue.

NEW YORK -- Harounian Rugs International (HRI), known for over 50 years in American markets for its fine, programmed hand-knotted rugs, will launch a new product line initiative for the company with the introduction of 19 machine-made rug collections at the summer 2017 Las Vegas Market.

In making the announcement, Lee Harounian, president of HRI, said that he has taken the trending colors and transitional designs from some of HRI's most successful, best-selling hand-made collections and reproduced their look in finely woven Wilton constructions from Turkey.

The new Wilton-weave collections from HRI, including Comfort shown above, replicate the trending colors and transitional designs from the company's best-selling hand-made looks.

All offered at promotional price points, the machine-made collections are woven of synthetic fibers, and will provide unique buying opportunities, from exclusive private labeling to multiple direct purchase plans.

"We are very excited about this new HRI product category that allows us to work with a whole new customer base," said Harounian.  The new assortment category was successfully tested at the Atlanta International Rug Market last week, and will be fully rolled out during the Las Vegas Market, July 29 - August 2, 2017.

The line will be showcased at the Harounian Rugs International World Market Center showroom, Building B, Suite B-433.
