LR Home X Evette Ríos Area Rug Collection Debuts at Spring High Point Market

Lifestyle expert and designer Evette Ríos and LR Home launch their first licensed area rug collections at High Point Market on Sunday, April 23 with a full day of events.

Lifestyle expert and designer Evette Ríos joins LR Home at HPMKT to launch first licensed area rug collections.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Interior designer and lifestyle expert Evette Ríos will officially launch her licensed area rug collection with LR Home at the LR Home High Point showroom, IHFC D-531, at a meet and greet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday Apr. 23.

The event, entitled "Home for All of our America” is the highlight of a full day Rios has planned at the LR showroom. She will hold a casual Q&A for the debut rug collection and will be on hand for line presentations all day on Sunday. Visit the LR Home website to book an appointment.

The debut collections include Tribu, a heritage-inspired range with traditional Latin American weaves reinterpreted to be modern and fresh, and Mapa, a series of bold modern designs in fresh colors. Evette Ríos rugs debut with 12-16 designs in two constructions: woven polyester and washable indoor-outdoor polyester.

Evette Ríos is an all-around home enthusiast – an entertaining, hosting, crafting and design expert who brings her approachable sense of humor, and belief in fun living to everything she does. She is currently a host of A&E’s Home.Made, a regular contributor to the Today Show, Rachael Ray and Sherri.

She is a trained interior designer, attending both Parsons School of Design and Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and spent years working alongside some of NYC’s top interior designers.


The Tribu collection by Ríos is heritage-inspired range with traditional Latin American weaves reinterpreted.

LR Home's showroom is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Following is a list of all the planned festivities and events on Sunday at LR Home:

Ríos also produces and hosts a series called Holiday How To’s with Evette Ríos. In those episodes, Evette provides simple entertaining and cooking tips on everything from home-made holiday pie crusts and saucy buffalo wing fingers, to Halloween-themed shrimp cocktails that look like icky brains. She, also, loves posting personal Puerto Rican recipes online.

In her TV appearances, Evette quenches the audiences’ thirst for hands-on advice, innovative crafts, and dramatic room revisions – and with budget friendly projects that look like a million bucks. Rios, who is bi-lingual, has appeared on American Spanish language morning television show Despierta America, produced in Miami.

Evette credits her passion for crafting tasty but low-maintenance entertaining solutions to growing up with her oddly improvisational parents in Brooklyn. She loves throwing hip, sometimes even silly themed parties, and serving food and drinks inspired by cultures from around the world.
