LR Home Hires Molly Mays as Director of Lead Accounts

Molly Mays joins LR Home as director of key accounts and business development leader, tasked with heading and growing sales within national furniture accounts while assisting the creative process, design and color direction.

DALTON, GA – Dalton-based LR Home, a major player in the textile and furniture wholesale industry, is excited to announce the addition of Molly Mays to their team. Mays has joined the company as their director of key accounts and business development leader. In this new position, Mays will direct the efforts of growing sales within National Furniture Accounts while assisting the creative process, design and color direction of LR Home’s growing product categories.

Mays is seen as an emerging sales and design talent. Her career in the home furnishings industry began with her education. As a Cum Laude Graduate, of High Point University’s prestigious Interior Design Department, Mays embraced the opportunity to intern and support many of the largest and most successful suppliers in the Home Furnishings Industry. Mays was honored by High Point University as a Top 10 Young Alumni in 2019 and Top 40 Under 40 by Home Furnishings Business magazine in 2018.

Most recently Mays held the position of Director of Textiles & National Accounts at Rizzy Home. Growing the textile division to one of the leaders in the Home Fashions market, Mays used creative product development and fostered relationships amongst Top 100 regional and national accounts.

Mays is also heavily involved with the Accessory Resource Team (ART). She is proud to sit on the Board of Directors for over four years and to have served as the ART Conference Co-Chair since 2018. Beyond that involvement, Mays has been an awards judge for Interior Design Society (IDS) since 2019.

To say she is passionate about the Home Furnishings industry would be an understatement.
