Kaleen Showcases New Collections & Line Extensions for High Point Market

Kaleen rolls out its latest machine-made, indoor-outdoor and hand-woven area rugs for fall High Point shoppers.

HIGH POINT -- With strong demand for its machine-made and indoor-outdoor rugs, Kaleen is focusing most of its High Point Market, Oct. 13-21, debuts on those categories. However, the company is also debuting two hand-woven assortments for buyers as well.

Kaleen previewed some of its latest designs in September, at which time, COO Monty Rathi told RugNews.com, "Our summer performance overall was pretty good, given all of the hurdles that everyone has been facing. Summer is typically great for us due to the outdoor rug season, but this summer we had record-breaking unit sales. Our outdoor and machine-made indoor rugs more than doubled in sales so far this year because they are light weight and perfect for e-commerce.

"We are seeing a rise in sales and expect to see this business come back very strong in the fourth quarter," he continued.

Among the collections on show at Kaleen's High Point Showplace showroom #2345 are:

HAND-WOVEN COLLECTIONS

MARL COLLECTION


The new hand-woven Marl collection features primitive hand-sewn detailed edging.

Kaleen's Marl collection, hand-woven from 100 percent imported wool in India, includes six varied shades of neutrals and charcoals woven together to create a birchbark-like pattern. Hand-sewn edges are crafted with contrasting yarns, and these single pile rugs are hand serged and backed with Kaleen’s signature cotton canvas.

MILA COLLECTION


Kaleen rolls out Mila, a range of monochromatic lower pile with contrasting raised geometric detailing.

The Mila collection consists of a monochromatic lower pile with a contrasting, raised geometric pattern, and macramé-type detailing with long oversized tassels. Hand-woven in India out of 100 percent blended wool, the four designs of the Mila collection feature an open-backed construction making these rugs lightweight and easy to move.

MACHINE-MADE COLLECTIONS

ARTECKS COLLECTION


The machine-made Artecks area rugs by Kaleen resemble the aged patina on old factory walls.

Designed to resembles the walls of an old factory, Arteck area rugs offer a weathered-looking design. Machine-Made in Turkey of 100 percent polyester, the range is durable and easy to clean, with an open-backed lightweight construction.

ESTORIA COLLECTION


The debuting Estoria collection is inspired by Aztec design and features a plush look and oversized tassels.

The super soft rugs of the Estoria collection re-interprets classic Aztec designs and features oversized tassels. Machine-made in Turkey of 100 percent polyester, the five designs of the Estoria collection are open-back, light-weight and easy clean and care.

NORA COLLECTION


Featuring printed traditional designs, the affordable Nora collection reworks classic styles in trending color combinations.

The Nora collection of colorful printed traditional designs are finished with a small fringe on two sides and are open-backed, making them light weight and easy to move. Nora rugs are machine-made in Turkey out of 100 percent polyester.

SERINIA COLLECTION


Trending colors are layered on top of a soft neutral base in Kaleen’s new Serinia assortment. Shown, SER-08

Kaleen's Serinia collection, machine-made in Turkey of 100 percent polypropylene, layers boldly colored design elements on top of a soft neutral base. Each of these transitional designs are open-backed, durable and also easy to clean and care for.

SOUMELA COLLECTION
 

The detailed designs of Kaleen's new Soumela collection updates traditional motifs in trending colors.

Inspired by the architecture of the Gothic Period, the Soumela collection from Kaleen features detailed designs in an array of traditional styles and colors. These light-weight durable rugs are machine-made in Turkey from polyester with an open-back.

INDOOR-OUTDOOR COLLECTIONS

BORA COLLECTION


Kaleen continues to expand its outdoor offering with the Bora collection, featuring geometric designs. Shown, BOR-01

Kaleen's indoor-outdoor Bora collection of simple geometric designs takes its color cues from the blue lagoons, sandy beaches and colorful corals of Tahiti. Machine-made in Turkey of 100 percent polypropylene, the fade and heat-resistant Bora collection is made of durable fibers tough enough to handle high-traffic areas.

CABO COLLECTION
 

With a color nod to Los Cabos, the designs of Kaleen's Cabo assortment offers coastal-inspired designs. Shown, CAB-06

The Cabo collection of geometric and coastal designs use a color palette inspired by sand, sky, and sea. Crafted of durable fibers, this range is machine-made in Turkey of 100 percent polypropylene. This collection is fade and heat-resistant, and durable enough to handle high-traffic areas.

TIERRA COLLECTION


Kaleen introduces the Tierra collection of indoor-outdoor area rugs. Shown, TRA-05

Kaleen's Tierra collection incorporates intricate designs that are reminiscent of ancient coastal cultures. Featuring warm grays, stony blacks, and sandy tans, this collection is machine-made in Turkey of 100 percent polypropylene. Tiera’s durable fibers and earth-inspired colors make this rug a perfect addition to high-traffic outdoor spaces.
