Kaleen Focuses on LUXE Label Rug & Broadloom Debuts, and Popular Tamara Day Collaboration at HPMKT

Kaleen will introduce High Point Market buyers to its latest high-end LUXE label rugs and broadloom, and will also showcase its popular Tamara Day collection rugs -- with the celebrity designer scheduled to host a meet and greet at the show.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Artisanal area rug + broadloom designer and manufacturer KALEEN is doubling its spotlight to showcase two key branded collections this season at the spring 2023 edition of High Point Market, running from April 22-26.

Among the featured rug and broadloom debuts are:


Kaleen spotlights its high-end LUXE lineup of rugs and broadloom, geared toward brick-and-mortar retailers, designers
and decorators.

Kaleen continues to expand its high-end Luxe brand, which initially rolled out a series of hand-crafted area rugs and has been expanded to include bespoke broadloom options. The series adds 30 versatile designs for spring shoppers. Focused on upscale brick-and-mortar retailers as well as interior designers and decorators, Luxe products are made of 100 percent premium wool and expertly hand-knotted by Kaleen’s team of highly trained artisan weavers.

Magnolia Network Designer Tamara Day (host of Bargain Mansions, and CEO and founder of Growing Days Home and Growing Days Design, will be Kaleen’s special guest for a “Meet and Greet” event on Day 2 of market – Sunday, April 23, 1 p.m.-4 p.m. at Kaleen's showroom (Showplace 2345) to promote the Kaleen x Tamara Day Collection of performance-driven area rugs, made in Day’s signature “laid-back luxe” style.

Industry friends, colleagues and customers are invited to attend and enjoy cocktails crafted by Day – “who will be playing bartender part of the time,” said Monty Rathi, Kaleen chief operating officer.

“Tamara appreciates spending time with her valued customers,” Rathi added. “We’re excited to be hosting her for this special event at our showroom to kickoff market. She’s a great partner and she has a great sense of style.”

Kaleen and Day joined forces in 2022 to launch their co-branded collection of area rugs in four styles: Charlotte, a transitional collection hand-tufted of 100 percent wool; Juniper, a French chateau-inspired collection machine-made of performance yarns; Lee Boulevard, a traditional-meets-contemporary collection machine-made of performance yarns; and Warwick, a textural and bold-colored collection hand-tufted of performance yarns.

“It’s been a success collaborating with Kaleen,” said Tamara Day. “Together, we’ve created beautiful area rugs that people love and feel good about using at home with their families. I hope to soon create more styles with Kaleen.”

More on Kaleen’s new LUXE: Area rugs are stocked in three standard sizes; and broadloom applications are available. The company’s India operations stock carpet rolls of each Luxe design to create custom sizes + shapes.

Luxe collection customization options for area rugs include:

• Shapes – Rectangle, Square, Octagon, Round and Oval
• Sizes – Dimensions within 15 feet wide and 50 feet long
• Shortened lead times – Deliveries in 90 days or less
