LAS VEGAS -- Kalaty Rug Corp debuts an array of new area rugs in a range of weaves, textures and constructions -- including its first machine-washable rugs-- at its Las Vegas showroom (WMC, B-455) for the 2025 summer market, July 27-31.

While the company is primarily showcasing its newest hand-knotted collections (Caldera, Genesis, Helix, Himalaya, Lima, Piazza, Prato and Rove) and adding to best-selling hand-knotted collections, including Forte, Lilah, Orion and Soumak, it continues to expand the number of high-quality power-loomed styles featuring high-end hand finishing.

Also launching at Las Vegas is WASH-ABLES by Kalaty, the company’s debut in the washable rug category. Two of the company’s new WASH-ABLES collections – Merzglyphs and Sportsglyphs II -- feature the licensed designs from renowned Brooklyn urban artist Katie Merz. The third WASH-ABLES lineup, Cascade, is an eclectic grouping of designs ranging from updated Oushaks to modern abstract influences.

“We are excited to show off the depth and breadth of our new-product presentation at Las Vegas this summer,” says Mike Kalaty, a company spokesman. “At the high-end, we have elegant new hand-knotted rugs in a range of style genres from updated traditional to transitional to modern, plus exciting additions to our high-end hand-finished power-loomed wool collections, which not only are nearly indistinguishable from hand-knotted styles but also are more moderately priced. We also continue to add new colors and designs to our popular oversized ‘Mansion Sizes’ grouping of best-selling high-end styles in 13x18, 14x 20, 15x22 and 16x 24 sizes for large residential and commercial installations.”

Among the Kalaty summer Las Vegas hand-knotted highlights: the 100 percent wool contemporary hand-knotted designs of the Rove collection; the updated-classic Oushak inspirations of the 100 percent wool Caldera series; the simple transitional elegance of the 100 percent premium wool Genesis collection; the luxurious hand-knotted updated-traditional Piazza lineup made entirely of 100 percent silk yarns; the Prato collection with its sophisticated modern abstract designs hand-knotted entirely of luxurious 100 percent silk yarns; the Lima collection, a range of hand-knotted 100 percent premium hand-spun wool designs featuring borderless classic floral patterns in an array of desirable colorways.

Kalaty power-loomed highlights include the Paintwrks collection, a new 100 percent wool power-loomed hand-finished collection of modern designs derived from Kalaty's partnership with Katie Merz. And the new Lori-Loom assortment adds Gemini, a series of softly colored textural motifs, hand-crafted of premium wool yarns in a Lori-Loom weave.
