"Despite the necessity to temporarily reduce our staff, we still gladly accept customer calls to answer any and all questions," said Ariel Kalaty, a company spokesperson, who added that the company continues to follow state-mandated regulations. "While we're happy for customers to fax or email us, now is the perfect time for them to utilize the Kalaty app for both Apple and Android devices that's a free download on the App Store. We also offer an easy-to-navigate dealer portal at Kalaty.com.
"These interactive e-marketing and tech tools vastly improve the customer experience with features that allow our dealers to check inventory, place and/or check their orders, plus a number of other useful functions including being able to see all of our rugs in a variety of different room settings. All of these marketing tools can be especially helpful to dealers and customers who for the most part are currently working remotely due to the many uncertainties of the corona virus crisis," Kalaty explained.

Meticulously crafted, the Ankara collection of classic Oushak designs is made  of premium wool and Silkette. Shown, AK-427

Kalaty executives and employees, in compliance with current New York State guidelines, are carefully maintaining social distancing regulations as well as following proper health protocols to keep themselves and their families safe. The company warehouse continues to maintain a vast inventory of rug collections in all styles, sizes, shapes, weaves and constructions while the shipping department is making every effort to ship orders quickly.

"With most of the country working under stay-at-home mandates and with the High Point spring market cancelled, we are offering 'High Point specials' and limited-time free shipping, which we hope will help our customers conduct business during these difficult times. And, instead of debuting new products at this spring's markets, we have put our newest collections and designs on Kalaty.com so that customers can see our newest rugs online now," Kalaty added.

Kalaty's new product emphasis for spring 2020 primarily focuses on the company's heritage hand-knotted styles; however, there are new introductions in a variety of textures, weaves and constructions in all styles and at all price points.
