IHFC Presents 60+ New, Relocated, Expanded Showrooms for Spring 2021 High Point Market

The International Home Furnishings Center recorded a notable surge in leasing activity for spring 2021 High Point Market with Loloi Rugs among the more than 60 new, relocated, expanded and recommitted showrooms.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) is experiencing a notable surge in leasing activity for Spring 2021 High Point Market, running June 5-9, 2021, with more than 60 new, relocated, expanded and recommitted showrooms among the building’s 450 resources this June.

"Along with being High Point Market’s largest property, IHFC features hundreds of the industry’s biggest brands and is home to the popular InterHall collection,” said Scott Eckman, International Market Center’s (IMC) chief revenue officer. “Each market, IHFC is bustling with activity and this recent round of leasing gains strengthens its place as a must-see sourcing destination at the furnishings industry’s largest trade show.”

Three exhibitors are making their IHFC debut: long-time High Point Market participant Mainly Baskets (baskets, lighting, tabletop and wall decor) opens a new 264-square-foot showroom and two High Point Market newcomers – Aros Rep/Troels Denmark (fabrics and leathers) in 3,373 square feet and Hi-Rock Home (chairs, recliners, sectionals and swivels) in 5,815 square feet – will have a first-time presence at the market.

Nine current tenants are relocating or expanding their showrooms in IHFC for Spring Market. Atelier/Incanto Italia (upholstered sofas and furniture), EURO LINK/Himolla (chairs, sofas and suites), FlowDécor (ceiling lights, floor lamps, table lamps and tables) and Danny's Fine Porcelain (porcelain and lamps) are relocating to new showrooms within IHFC while Lane Venture (bar, fire pit & accessories, decorative pillows, seating and tables) is relocating from Market Square Tower (MST). Elk Group International (accent furniture, home accessories, lighting and wall art) is expanding by 25 percent into a 31,245-square-foot showroom; Loloi Rugs (rugs and pillows) is expanding by 10 percent into a 27,003-square-foot showroom; Omnia Leather Furniture (chairs, fabric, leather, sectionals and sofas) is expanding by 39 percent into a 9,739 square-foot space; and Regina Andrew Design (decorative accessories, furniture and lighting) is expanding by 60 percent into a 8,593-square-foot space.

“High Point Market has always been very successful for FlowDécor and we have enjoyed the privilege of being in InterHall for the last 10 years,” said David Elliott, co-owner of FlowDécor, who is relocating from a temporary space to a permanent showroom in InterHall. “We are particularly excited about the June 2021 Market and not just because we have made a major investment in a new showroom, but because we anticipate strong attendance amongst serious buyers and strong sales as a result.”
