IFDA releases its spring High Point Market events schedule.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The International Furnishings and Design Association has released its calendar of special events at the upcoming High Point Market, running April 22-26.

The Vacation Rental Design Summit is a new education and networking event bringing together an emerging community of design professionals passionate about the booming short-term rental industry. Tailored to interior designers seeking to level up their short-term rental design services and unlock new streams of revenue, this two-day event, April 20-21 (with a kick-off mixer on the 19th), features a savvy and inspiring collection of speakers who will cover the basics, business, and branding of vacation rental design. Also included, a vendor showcase and hospitality. While the medium and materials may vary, the process of inspiration, visualization, narrative, artistry and realization have remained the same for millennia. Michel Smith Boyd, Alejandra Thompson de Jordan, and Marjorie Skouras embody this richly layered and diverse creative world and will speak to their unique process while celebrating the synergy that all creatives share.
