JACKSONVILLE, FL. -- Charles S. Mussallem, III, died on August 24, 2008.  He died peacefully in his sleep of natural causes. He was 57 years old.

Mussalem was  the president of Mussallem Oriental Rugs & Galleries, an Oriental rug retailer in Jacksonville since 1897.

He was also the head of No-Muv Corp., Inc., a manufacturer of rug underlay headquartered in  Dalton, GA.

He is survived by his widow,  Dawn M. Mussallemand  seven children: Tori Mussallem, Anna Mussallem, Cristina Mussallem Haddad (Michael), Charles Mussallem, IV; Michael Mussallem, Cecelia Mussallem and Sophia Mussallem; four sisters and a brother. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles S. Mussallem, Jr. and Marie Herro Mussallem.
