Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and safety concerns, the Dynamic Rugs will not open its showroom for the upcoming Las Vegas Market.

FREDERICK, Md. -- Dynamic Rugs has announced that it will not participate at the summer 2020 edition of Las Vegas Market.

Matthew Rouhanian, founder of the Maryland-based company, released the following statement. "It is with a heavy heart and difficult decision that Dynamic Rugs will not be participating locally at this year's Las Vegas Summer Market. Whether Las Vegas or New York, we have never missed a single show since becoming a contender in the textiles industry. But Dynamic Rugs puts the health and safety of our customers, reps, and staff before anything else, which means that we are confident that this tough decision was also the right decision.

"Each show has been an absolute highlight over the years, and we look forward to reestablishing that standard we have all come to expect hopefully next year. The future is bright, and tough times are blending into inspiration," he said.

"You can expect Dynamic Rugs to continue to be on the cutting edge of the industry - continuously innovating and adapting to the present unpredictability. In an effort to preserve the cherished connections that we've built with our valued customers, we are excited to present new accommodations and transformations that will enable us to stay in close collaboration with our customers despite the physical distance."

VIRTUAL SHOWROOM DEBUTS

Dynamic Rugs has developed an interactive virtual showroom, expected to launch soon, to offer buyers another way to browse their product.

"As we all aim to navigate through these unprecedented times, Dynamic Rugs is dedicated to upholding any and all safety precautions. Thus, we had to resolve the conundrum of adhering to social distancing guidelines while still showing our customers our products up-close so they can see our high quality and value," Rouhanian continued. One solution Dynamic Rugs has developed to address this is by building a highly advanced and interactive virtual showroom to display new and current collections. "The virtual showroom will include not only top-quality high-resolution photography and digital catalogs but will also include video footage of the products as well as video discussions regarding the products," he said.

"Of course, while this does not quite replace the positive aspects of human interaction, it does have its array of benefits that a physical showroom does not provide. For instance, efficiency and accuracy will be at optimal levels given that all information is centralized - customers can constantly reference the virtual showroom rather than rely on hastily taken notes - and any requisite changes can be made instantaneously. Additionally, without the physical space limits, Dynamic Rugs' virtual showroom can display all designs and colorways of our wide variety of collections," Rouhanian explained.

The company will launch its virtual showroom soon.

Dynamic Rugs, which introduced its partnership with American designer Angelo Surmelis earlier this year grows the range this summer. "While the Angelo Surmelis brand is already off to a strong start with the Alea collection, we will be expanding the collaboration with the "Angelo:HOME" brand, which will be allotted for lower price point collections, such as the new Nola area rug and Crux accent scatter collections," said Anoosha Rouhanian.

"Despite the global health crisis, Dynamic Rugs is not slowing down when it comes to product development," Anoosha Rouhanian continued." We are endlessly researching new materials and current/future trends, and developing unique stitching combinations, colorways and designs. We strive to stay ahead of the curve with industry leading research and trend forecasting, as well as with our means of presentation of new products." This includes the introduction of a new virtual showroom, as well as conducting regular updates to the company's website, e-catalog, and performing livestreams and conducting virtual meetings. She said the company is also dedicated to enhancing and expanding upon its photography and improving the way in which new samples and other information is delivered to customers.

"Though not having our presence in Las Vegas is less than ideal, Dynamic Rugs is determined to prove our resilience and perseverance - we find ourselves rapidly and eagerly adapting by pouring into newfound creativity and innovation," she continued.
