LAS VEGAS -- Dynamic Rugs, which finished 2021 on a strong note and expects the momentum to continue for the first half of 2022, will roll out 17 new area rug collections for the upcoming Las Vegas Market, Jan. 23-27.
"2021 definitely finished off strong for us," Dynamic Rugs Founder Matthew Rouhanian, told RugNews.com. "We had plenty of sales from different categories: our Ancient Garden collection did well again, while our newer Sirus collection was successful too.
"We expect home furnishings will have a strong first half of 2022. And we expect gray rugs with pops of color to be popular, particularly from what we are hearing from our clients." Rouhanian pointed to designs from the company's Capella collection and the debuting Jazz collection. Jazz collection features a variety of designs, both modern and traditional, with cooler tones of blue and brown, combined with more neutral shades of gray and ivory.
For winter market, Dynamic Rugs will showcase its market introductions at its A-432 World Market showroom and the company's current appointments outpace those from the August show.
"We are trying to be as optimistic as we can and while we understand COVID may make the event smaller, we are still hoping for a good turnout and a successful market. While some clients have cancelled, we have a good number of appointments scheduled," Rouhanian said, adding that the Fredrick, Maryland-based rug company has more appointments scheduled for winter 2022 than it had for summer show last year.
"We plan on showcasing 17 brand-new area rug collections," Rouhanian said. "Some of the ones we are excited to show off include Carson, Cullen and Harlow. Carson is a collection full of eye-catching modern designs. Cullen is a more traditional collection, filled with beautiful colors. Harlow is a nice mixture of both modern and traditional. We have a little bit of everything for everyone."

Dynamic Rugs' Cullen collection features traditional style designs, in shades of beige, brown, and blue. The line offers a unique quality that causes its colors to change depending on the lighting and these rugs offer a soft hand.
