Signature ‘Insider Access Experience’ returns in April with expert panel and mentoring.

3/30/2026
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point Market Authority’s Diversity Advocacy Alliance (DAA) announces two events organized for Spring Market on Sunday, April 26, and Monday, April 27, including the third annual DAA Insider Access Experience.

Focused on growth tactics for interior designers, the Insider Access Experience is a half-day event aimed at sharpening business acumen in two formats scheduled between 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, April 27, at The Lofts at Congdon Yards, located at 400 English Rd.

This signature event begins with a dynamic panel discussion moderated by Ben Johnston and featuring designers O. Stephanie Beverly, Marie Cloud, and Kelly Finley. The industry experts will share their experiences and insights on building an interior design business, brand partnerships, and positioning for growth.

Following the opening discussion, attendees will pivot to hands-on workshops for intimate access to the panelists plus Christi Barbour and Victoria Sanchez, covering critical topics such as business development, job management, fee structures, purchasing, and financial systems.

Open to Market attendees with a valid buyer pass, pre-registration for this space-limited event is required.

“The Insider Access experience lets guests tap into decades of business experience over the course of one morning at High Point Market ,” says Tammy Covington, HPMA president and CEO. “From the panel presentation by top interior designers to the breakout workshops, participants gain invaluable insights needed for taking their business to the next level.”

A second DAA event entitled “An Evening of Connection” is planned for Sunday evening, from 5 to 7 pm, in the Eichholtz showroom located at 129 S. Hamilton St. Open to all registered High Point Market attendees, this event is a great opportunity to learn more about DAA's mission, connect with its committee members, and network with fellow supporters.

“Advocacy within our industry can take many forms and it begins with making personal connections,” says Ben Johnston, DAA Chair. “We’re excited to welcome seasoned attendees and newbies for a fun night of networking in a relaxed atmosphere.”

The DAA is an HPMA initiative that aims to expand representation and equitable opportunities within the home furnishings industry and its leadership. Additional information about DAA may be found at www.highpointmarket.org/DiversityAdvocacyAlliance.
