HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Interior designer celebrities and stars celebrated new product launches or hosted special events at rug showrooms around the High Point campus during the fall event, Oct. 25-29.

Among the notable area rug launches were handcrafted pieces from the new Bradley Odom x Jaipur Living, Citizen Artist x Surya, Leanne Ford x Loloi, Erin & Ben Co. x Natco Home, and Cortney Bishop x Amadi, with several designers on hand to roll out their rugs to designers and retailers attending market. RugNews.com met with other celebrity designers, reviewing their latest additions (The Novogratz x Momeni, and Tamara Day x Lavin), signing books (Erin Gates x Momeni), hosting designer social (The Design Besties in the Kas Rugs showroom), or featuring a dog rescue adoption event (Feizy Rugs). And, celebrity designer Jennifer Farrell was at the Global Views showroom introducing her new Jennifer Farrell x Global Views, which includes furnishings, decor and the Wavelengths and Resonance area rugs.

THOM FILICIA

The synergy between pets and PET performance area rugs was in spectacular focus at Feizy’s Designers for Dogs fund-raising event. “We’re really excited about our indoor-outdoor rugs for Feizy. We wanted to create something that wouldn’t overwhelm the outdoor space -- something that would look beautiful with bluestone and decking and all of the things in the outdoor landscape and also be something that would be stylish in family rooms and kitchens and mudrooms. All of the places where you’d think, 'Are we going to spill on this rug.'" Indeed, that goes for pets as well. Two of Filicia’s newest collections Highland, hand loomed of PET and Finley, hand knotted of PET illustrate the style potential of the in-out category for the interior design space.

Thom Filicia was in the Feizy showroom as part of a panel on designing with pets in mind, and also a rescue dog
adoption event. He and his furrbaby, Lago, take a break in front of Filicia's growing lineup of performance rugs. Pictured right is the

JENNIFER FARRELL

"Jennifer Farrell for Global Views is my exploration of modern, overscaled organics. I have had a love affair with Global Views for 20 years as a designer, and this collection is my love letter back to the brand.” Jennifer Farrell, founder of Jennifer Farrell Design, Marina del Rey, California, and TV host of the long-running series Find & Design, and currently hosts Million Dollar House HuntersFind Me a Beach House, and Most Amazing Homes. “I start thinking about rugs from the very beginning of a collection, the very beginning of designing a space. The rug is the ground and center and heart of any room.”

THE NOVOGRATZ

"Our Icon rug is incredible. The reason I love it is because it's indoor-outdoor and it comes in so many different patterns and incredible colors. It's lots of fun and we have it in our own home in our son Major's bedroom, and it's a perfect rug for anywhere," -- Cortney Novogratz, The Novogratz, New York.

Long-time Momeni partners, Robert and Cortney Novogratz, stop by the showroom to see the new additions to their
popular indoor-outdoor Icon collection.

ERIN GATES

Designer Erin Gates practices what she preaches in her newest book, Elements of Timeless Style, Creating a Forever Home, and her licensed area rug program with Momeni, which hosted a book signing event for her at High Point Market. From the best-selling Orchard collection of classic designs, to the updated traditional style of the hit Abbott collection, the line allows homeowners to “build your style over time to reflect a playful, timeless look you can use in a lot of different spaces to add great punches of color.”

LEANNE FORD

"I am so happy to just be with all my rugs in person at the Loloi showroom -- They are beautiful handmade rugs, gorgeously done. Everything I design—whether it’s a home, a piece of furniture, or a rug—has that mix of modern and vintage, clean lines with a little bit of something wonky. I’m always chasing a balance between modern minimalism and the feeling that something has always existed." --Leanne Ford of Leanne Ford Interiors, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

BEN & ERIN NAPIER

"It’s been fun to explore youthful pattern in subdued color that plays nicely with my vibrant and saturated upholstery collection, but also - bringing American-made to mind for buyers is a huge goal. We want to see more heirloom home goods made stateside." -- Erin Napier, Erin & Ben Co., Laurel, Mississippi

Erin Napier, who co-hosts Our Town with her husband Ben, required that the couple's new rugs be crafted in the US, and
chose Natco as their obvious partner.

TAMARA DAY

“I wanted these rugs with Lavin to take the guesswork out of decorating. Each one has the texture, tone, and timeless feel that makes a room instantly come together — no overthinking, just that effortless ‘lived-in luxury’ I love.” — Tamara Day, Tamara Day Interiors, Kansas City

Designer and TV host of Bargain Mansions Tamara Day was in the Lavin showroom reviewing her latest rug additions, including this innovative
multi-texture Laid Back Luxe stripe hand-woven of recycled PET and cotton.

CORTNEY BISHOP

“I have a huge love for Swedish Scandinavian craft, especially their rugs, and I’ve collected vintage rugs for myself from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, but they were always small in size. I felt we really need to reinvent them in a modern way.” -- Cortney Bishop, Cortney Bishop Design, Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston, N.C., designer Cortney Bishop debuts her inaugural rug collection alongside Amadi in the Verellen showroom at HPMKT.

BRADLEY ODOM

“When I think about this rug collection, I’m taken back to where it all began—watching my grandfather work in his upholstery shop in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. I learned about craft and quality and heirloom. I reflect on that often and of what that means to me now." -- Bradley Odom, Dixon Rye and Studio Dixon Rye, Atlanta

The Design Besties were all over High Point Market, shopping, participating in design panels (at KAS Rugs and Unique Loom) and even winning an award. The award was presented on Sunday, October 26, by the Diversity Advocacy Alliance (DAA) at their Fall 2025 DAA Awards Mixer at the John Adams Inn in High Point. But one Bestie in particular, Whitney Atkinson, founder and inventor of WUGS Weighted Rugs, was also making the rounds to talk up her Wugs and Willows (shown at the KAS showroom). “I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity and for the incredible connections made as I begin building my incredible nationwide sales team. The future is looking brighter -- and heavier -- in all the right ways."
