JEFF MEADOWS LEAVES TOP SPOT AT SHAW LIVING |
DALTON, GA. -- Jeff Meadows, vice president of Shaw Living, has left the company. Jeff Brown, director of operations, will assume those duties on an interim basis, according to a Shaw spokesperson.
Meadows had held the position of head of the rug division since 2000. Under his direction, Shaw broadened it product range to include bath and kitchen rugs as well as room size and accent rugs. In the past two years, the company has moved aggressively into the home textiles field. The name Shaw Living was adopted three years ago to reflect the broader scope of Shaw's rug and home textiles business. During Meadows' tenure, the company also deepened its commitment to the Kathy Ireland Home licensing program as well as adding new licensees such as Tommy Bahama, Marykate and Ashley and Jack Nicklaus.
Meadows was a member of Shaw's first team of college recruits in the late 1970's. Before being named head of the Shaw rug operations, Meadows was a sales and marketing excecutive in Shaw's broadloom division and in Shaw's retail operations.
