DALLAS – Dallas Market Center veteran Amy Harper has been promoted to executive vice president of marketing, the company has announced. Harper is responsible for the marketing division of Dallas Market Center supporting both buyer and exhibitor marketing as well as events, market services, and retail development. She reports to president and CEO Cindy Morris.

Harper has been with the company since 2001, managing an increasing number of responsibilities to drive awareness, engagement, and traffic to Dallas Market Center beginning with retail liaison positions for apparel and accessories, international, and then assuming retail leadership for all industries. Most recently she served as SVP Retail Development and Market Services.

“Amy is an outstanding, customer-obsessed leader,” said Cindy Morris, Dallas Market Center president and CEO. “She knows our audiences, and our business, extremely well and has successfully overseen our growth in attendance from coast to coast and internationally as well as the expansion of our major stores and buying group programs. She has the respect of our customers, and team members, because of her commitment to service, innovation, inspiring others, and building relationships.”

In addition to her leadership positions with Dallas Market Center, Harper has served in a variety of roles with professional organizations. For Fashion Group International of Dallas, she served as regional director and president of the Fashion Group Foundation. She also served on the board for Attitudes and Attire, the non-profit supporting women’s job readiness and self-esteem.

“I’m thrilled to continue to lead, to capitalize on our momentum, and deepen our commitment to the customer,” said Harper. “The in-person market experience is unmatched for business decision makers to get more done, expand their business, and feel the personal connection of a community. Our marketing team will support these goals in new, meaningful ways.”
