Amer Rugs Seeks National Sales Manager and an E-Commerce Director

Amer Rugs, a global leader in interior fashion and design, is currently looking for a National Sales Manager and an E-Commerce Director.
NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
In the role of national sales manager, the candidate shall be responsible for fostering new business relationships while managing existing relationships. He/she shall recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitive analyses, conduct budget reviews, attend industry trade events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings.
The candidate will develop a team of representatives across the nation for sales growth, and will lead, manage and direct sales to Amer's existing and potential retail base.
The national sales manager is responsible for building account relationships, forecasting sales by retail channel, and for forecasting sales trends as well as team building. He/she will participate in strategic and general leadership and management under the direction of the executive team, and reflect a positive image of Amer to the industry while acting as a mentor to the Amer sales team.
The candidate shall be responsible for maximizing Amer's public and trade exposure while continuing to explore additional sales opportunities for Amer.

E-COMMERCE DIRECTOR
Amer Rugs, an established wholesale area rug manufacturer based in Norcross, Georgia, is seeking a Growth Leader in the e-commerce space to generate new business and further develop existing business. As an e-commerce account manager with Amer Rugs, you will have unlimited potential as you network and generate qualified new business opportunities, using your exceptional relationship-building skills.
Your role will include driving increased gross profit and revenue, and works with the ecommerce team to ensure proper execution of the addition of new accounts. Another part of our core values come from learning about our current customers, asking questions, understanding their needs, and determining the best solution to generate growth within those walls. We take pride in having long-term client relationships, allowing our new team members to join the conversation and provide fresh views to achieve new goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The E-commerce account manager will be responsible for the growth of new and existing e-commerce accounts for Amer Rugs, including, but not limited to, the following:
§ Solicit new business through cold calling, emailing, texting, direct mail, in-person, video, and group meetings
§ Build relationships based on empathy, thought leadership, and subject matter expertise
§ Create or use existing relevant product proposals, and present to potential customers in person or virtually
§ Assist in developing a sales generation plan with specific needs outlined, to ensure proper tools are provided
§ Utilize a consultative approach to understand existing customers’ gaps and opportunities, suggest appropriate solutions, and work to meet and exceed mutual goals
§ Attend networking events, generating referrals and potential opportunities (i.e. Markets/Trade Shows)
§ Negotiate terms and product costs depending on order volume
§ Provide exceptional customer service to our customers when needed - relationships matter
§ Find new paths to success where not previously seen
§ Report on critical obstacles to success as identified by customers (i.e. specific stock shortages, etc.)
§ Stay within defined travel budgets; submit itemized receipts & weekly expense reports
§ Provide weekly updates on progress to upper management
§ Maintain accurate customer records via NetSuite database
REQUIREMENTS
§ Bachelor’s degree preferred
§ Intrinsic knowledge of the wholesale ecommerce home décor space
§ Knowledge of how to reach area rug buyers across all channels
§ Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
§ Strong technology skills (Excel, Zoom, PowerPoint, Email, Social Media, etc.)
§ Superior comfort messaging contacts via digital and social platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook
§ Ability to work autonomously to achieve goals
§ Ability to handle rejection and constructive criticism
§ Exemplary ethics and morals; ambition to succeed
§ 4-8 years’ experience in a B2B sales or business development role
§ Ability to travel domestically as needed
§ Note: This is a remote position.
