ST LOUIS â€“ Rick Bennet has joined CCA Global Partners as co-chief executive officer.  Bennet comes to CCA Global Partners with an extensive background in retailing and  general management experience, including both  domestic and international multi-unit businesses.

Bennet was with the May Department Stores Co. for over 27 years.  He rose to become president and chief executive officer of Famous Barr Department Stores in St. Louis and later president and chief executive officer of Kaufmanns and vice chairman of May.

More recently, Bennet was president and chief executive officer of Direct Holdings Worldwide, an international direct marketing business with a variety of holdings including Lillian Vernon catalog and Time Life entertainment.

In addition, Bennet is on the board of directors of Drugstore.com, vice chairman of the Glacier National Park Foundation, and was an adjunct professor at The Olin School of Business at Washington University where he led a new curricular effort in social entrepreneurship.

Bennet will be based at CCA’s St. Louis headquarters.

CCA Global is headquartered in St. Louis and Manchester, NH. It is the parent company of Carpet One, Flooring America, Rug Decor, and other retail chains.
