SURYA MOVING TO  NEW 13,500 SQ. FT.
AMERICASMART SHOWROOM

CALHOUN, GA -- Surya is moving to a new 13,500 sq. ft. showroom in located at 11-A-1, in AmericasMart Atlanta.
Surya is leaving its showroom at 6-A-7 in The Area Rug Center at Americasmart.

The new showroom will double the company's square footage at the rug and home accessories market.

“We’re excited about this expansion. The larger space on the home accessory-geared 11^th floor will allow us to showcase a complete range of Surya’s lifestyle products in a more convenient location,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. 

As part of the company's aggressive expansion program  over the next five years, the new Atlanta showroom follows Surya’s Spring 2012 move into a 26,000 sq. ft. High Point flagship location at Showplace 4100, as well as expansion into smaller regional shows such as the Tupelo Furniture Market.

The company’s product assortment has also evolved in recent years with the expansion into  pillows, throws, poufs and wall art to coordinate with a broad range of rugs.

“Across every aspect of its brand, Surya epitomizes innovation,” noted Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., president and chief operating officer of AmericasMart.

“Its forward-reaching product mix, design aesthetic and marketing  define a company both grounded in tradition and compelled to the future,” added Portman.

The new Surya space will open for the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market beginning on January 9, 2013.

Earlier this year, AmericasMart announced rebranding of its fourth floor to include both rugs and home furnishings showrooms. Four Hands, a lifestyle home furnishings company, is relocating from the Mart's Home Furniture Center to a 12,000 sq. ft. showroom  on the fourth floor.
