Ah yes, we remember it well. Bud Wyman shares a few memories with Helen Marcus. Way back when, Bud worked for Aldon Industries, which was headed by the late, great
Jim Marcus, Helen's husband. Many Aldon alumni (including Trans Ocean's Allan Waggonheim) went on to illustrious careers in the carpet and rug industry. Jimmy left us last year at the age of 102.

Sam Presnell of The Rug Gallery in Cincinnati, told Rugnews.com he was in Vegas strictly for Surfaces. "I did my rug shopping in Atlanta. In Las Vegas, I want to concentrate on broadloom," he said.

Our dear friend Haig Pedian, for many years a principal of Pedian Rug in Chicago. Haig is still actively serving as a consultant to the rug and carpet industry. He told us that
