HIGH POINT, N.C. -- New Jersey-based S&H Rugs returns High Point Market for the first time since the COVID pandemic hit and more than doubles its space.

What's more, Ori Wilbush, founder, expects strong attendance from designer and decorator clients, who plan to stop by S&H Rugs' SAMS, M-2048 suite. " Our product is very tactile and this in-person representation is invaluable. The June market is set up to be promising.

"Our new space will be about 2.5 times larger than before and will allow us to bring about twice as many pieces,"  Wilbush told RugNews.com. "We will be able to present and display more unique and special rugs from different collections that we otherwise would have had to place in stacks."

Among the latest hand-knotted designs to be featured include new additions and color combinations to its popular Angora Oushak collection. "These rugs are very exciting and continue to be in demand -- they are also easy to decorate with," he said.

In addition, S&H Rugs will grow its high-low textured program rugs crafted of wool and silk and sari silk, adding transitional styles that incorporate classic Persian motifs with fresh colors. The company also adds new modern and abstract designs to its High Point lineup, as well as geometric and ethnic patterns and styles. "Kazak and Moroccans have not lost their appeal and recently even gained momentum especially with new colors that are not limited to grey and blue," Wilbush explained.

In the past several months, the rug maker has noted a pickup in custom orders in addition to its programmed rugs. "Custom rugs are trending strong and seem to be gaining in popularity and trust," Wilbush explained, noting, "Especially with vendors like us who pay extra attention to every detail, 100 percent accuracy delivered in a timely fashion."
