HIGH POINT, NC - A staggering number of celebrity designers debuted collections at furniture and rug showrooms at last week's High Point Market. The tenor was glamorous at Jaipur and E.J. Victor with the launch of Kate Spade New York Home; at KAS with an appearance by couturier Bob Mackie to introduce his Vintage Home rugs; and at Loloi, where designer and author Justina Blakeley unveiled rugs and pillows in her New Bohemian style. TV design stars were also in the spotlight: Genevieve Gorder wowed retailers with new collections at Capel Rugs' beautifully redesigned space and Candice Olson played to a standing-room only crowd at Surya.
