CAPEL RUGS PREMIERES NEW GENEVIEVE GORDER COLLECTIONS IN HIGH
POINT

Genevieve Gorder, award-winning designer and TV host,
will introduce two new collections for Capel Rugs at the
company's remodeled, amenity-rich showroom during High
Point Market.

TROY, NC - Popular television host and designer Genevieve Gorder will
personally unveil her latest Capel Rugs collections at the company's
redesigned showroom, Market Square, Space 112, at a two-day meet and
greet Gen & Juice event on Oct. 18 and 19 during this week's High Point
Market.
One of
America's favorite designers, viewers watch Gorder regularly on shows
like "Genevieve's Renovation," "Dear Genevieve" and "Design Star," where
she dispenses style and design advice that is on trend and accessible.
At market, the multi award winning talent designer will introduce two
collections for Capel: Poppy and Sticks.
"We've
featured several collections from Genevieve in recent years, and they've
always been outstanding successes," said Cameron Capel, vice president
of national accounts for Capel Rugs. "This year's collections show off
her incredible scope as a designer, ranging from mesmerizing geometrics
to eye catching modern patterns, all of which add the ideal charm and
glamour to any space."
The Poppy
in-door-outdoor collection features playful colors and graphics designed
with first apartments, kids' rooms and patios in mind. Made in the USA
of 100% olefin, the Poppy range comes in three fashion-forward designs:
Flores in azul, Kelim in azul and blossom, and Puerta in azul/lime. A
5'2"x7'6" rug may retail for $249.

Poppy by Genevieve Gorder will make its debut at market as a
very affordable sister brand to her core line with Capel, and
features playful graphics in designs like Kelim (above) and
Puerta.

Genevieve Gorder's Sticks collection is inspired by Norse god Odin and
his garlands of driftwood sticks, which legend said brought bring good
luck and fortune. Hand tufted in India of wool and viscose, Sticks comes
in five colorways: raven, sapphire, berry, stone and ember. A 5x8 rug
may retail for $699.
"I'm so
pleased to be introducing more texture and color to my 2015 collections
with Capel," said Genevieve Gorder. "In addition to new rugs for my core

Genevieve Gorder's Sticks collection for Capel Rugs debuts in
five fashion colorways including sapphire, which shows off the
motif inspired by the Norse god Odin's driftwood stick garlands.

Attendees of the High Point Market can discuss Gorder's new collections
with the designer herself, October 18 and 19, during the "Gen + Juice"
event in Capel's showroom. Gorder will be near the showroom's juice bar,
sharing fresh squeezed beverages, smoothies and afternoon margaritas
while discussing her latest inspirations.
The event
will take place in Capel Rug's newly designed showroom, which will
feature additional racking systems showcasing the company's latest
designs as well as a wide assortment of best sellers. Buyers will enjoy
easy to access charging stations, a self-serve refreshment area and a
coffee bar featuring fresh brewed Starbucks coffee. In addition, the
redesigned showroom boasts a "designer corner" where customers can work
one on one with sales representatives to find the best products for
their needs.
