AMER RELOCATES TO LARGER ATLANTA SHOWROOM, ANNOUNCES AMBITIOUS PRODUCT LAUNCH FOR SUMMER MARKETS

ATLANTA -- Amer Rugs is moving to a new 6,500 square foot AmericasMart Atlanta showroom and plans one of the company's most ambitious product launches to date. Amer will open the doors to its new space (Building 1, 6-D9) in time for the upcoming International Area Rug Market, July 11-15.
The showroom is more strategically located in Building 1 compared to Amer's earlier one at 5-D2, and is conveniently located near the access bridge to the Gift Mart and other AmericasMart buildings.
"The new showroom allows Amer a more open, efficient, and fully functional setting for the company's ever expanding product assortment,"said Joe Barkley, Amer's vice president of sales and marketing, "While stylish and elegant the objective is to provide our guests with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere to view Amer products under the best conditions possible. Plus, the new showroom includes a bistro area, a cell phone charging station, and enough room to display 500 Amer rugs."
INTRODUCES ELEVEN NEW COLLECTIONS IN VARIOUS CONSTRUCTIONS
Amer grows its best-selling hand-made Synergy collection, adding SYN-41 light gray, to this line of Tibetan hand-knotted designs featuring hand-carving and double washing during the finishing process.
For the summer markets, kicking off in Atlanta, Amer Rugs debuts eleven new collections in a range of constructions from machine-mades to hand-knots. In addition, the Norcross-based company, which
doubled the space of its HQ and distribution center last year, adds new designs and colorations to several popular collections (including its best-selling hand-knot Synergy collection) for July markets.
Two of Amer's featured designs include the hand-knotted Serena-9 in fiery orange, crafted of premium hand-spun virgin New Zealand wool and viscose; and Synergy-41 in light gray expands Amer's best-selling hand-made collection, crafted of fine hand-spun New Zealand wool that is expertly hand-carved and double washed during the finishing process.
