SURYA RUGS SIGNS LEASE FOR
LAS VEGAS MARKET CENTER
ADAIRSVILLE, GA. -- Surya Rugs has signed a lease for a showroom at The Las Vegas World Market Center, according to Chandra Tiwari, chairman.
The new showroom, in Phase Two of the WMC project, will measure approximately 2,000 sq. ft.
"Surya will be showing in temporary exhibit space this Summer for the first Las Vegas Home Furnishings Market," said Tiwari. The permanent showroom is expected to be completed in 2006.
Tiwari also noted that Surya has seen sales increases of approximately 60% with furniture stores attending the recent HighPoint market. "In the future, we will be spending even more time in coordinating rug design and color with furniture upholstery fabrics," he said.
The first Las Vegas Market will be held July 25 to 29, 2005.
