SURYA TO SHOWCASE COLORS OF THE YEAR AT WINTER MARKETS

CALHOUN, Ga.--Surya will spotlight at winter markets a broad-reaching assortment of rugs and accessories in the dual hues announced by color authority Pantone as the 2016 Pantone Color of the Year.
Since the announcement, Surya has already culled a number of products in tones of Serenity and Rose Quartz, which, according to Pantone embody a mindset of tranquility and inner peace. These products, along with all other items displayed in Surya's showrooms, will be in stock and ready to ship during the winter season.
When used alone in home interiors each shade holds its own, while the harmonious combination of Serenity and Rose Quartz reflects a focus on well-being and calm. The adaptable hues also work well with other shades and as subtle accent colors that accentuate pattern, texture and finish -- making them a good choice for rugs, pillows, bedding and other textiles.
"The move to softer, more tranquil colors that provide a counterpoint to the business and complexity of our lives has been trending during the past year," said Lynne Meredith, vice president of product development, Surya. Winter market attendees are invited to visit Surya's showrooms, where a specially curated selection of rugs, pillows, wall decor, lighting, bedding and other home accessories in Serenity, Rose Quartz and complementary hues will be displayed.
