BOKARA RUG RETURNS TO AMERICASMART TO PUSH CONTEMPORARY DESIGNS

Featuring vivid contemporary designs, the Canvas Art Select collection by Bokara Rug will debut at a new showroom at the upcoming Atlanta International Rug Market.

SECAUCUS, NJ--Bokara Rug Company will return to the Atlanta International Area Rug Market, held from Jan. 13-16, 2016, after a 10-year hiatus from the show. The company, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, will exhibit in AmericasMart Building 1, 3D-7.

"We felt that with the introductions of our new contemporary ranges and the interest it has received from the trade that now was the right time to return to Atlanta," Bokara founder Jan Soleimani tells RugNews.com. The company also recently announced a new warehouse that doubled its Secaucus footprint to 100,000 square feet.

An interplay of color and texture creates a contemporary design from the Vintage collection by Bokara Rug Company.

Earlier this fall at High Point and the Rug Show at Javits, Bokara previewed its latest contemporary rug range called Canvas Art Select, made in Pakistan. Featuring vivid contemporary designs, the collection is hand-knotted from a combination of fine wools and silk, and is expected to generate a lot of interest among buyers shopping AmericasMart.

Bokara is also adding to its Vintage collection of traditional hand-knotted designs reinterpreted in contemporary textures and fashion colors.  It also continues to add designs to its cut and loop pile Windsom collection of rugs hand-knotted in India of wool and art silk highlights, and its high/low hand-loomed 6000 range of contemporary patterns in updated neutral tones made of wool and line.
