LAS VEGAS MARKET CENTER  WINTER MARKET TO CO-INCIDE WITH SURFACES

LAS VEGAS -- The Las Vegas World Market Center  will conduct its winter home furnishings market Jan. 30 to Feb. 3, 2006.

The dates co-incide with the Surfaces International Floor Covering Exposition which is scheduled for the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas Feb. 1 to 3, 2006.

Las Vegas Market  officials said  Surfaces and the World Market Center home furnishings market will be synergistic events.

"We have a respectable line-up of floor covering companies in our first building and intend to grow this category over time. For rug buyers planning to come to Las Vegas for one or both  events, they will get an even broader sampling of new resources,€VbCrLf said  Dave Palmer, general manager of the World Market Center.

The Las Vegas Market Center dates have been
approved by World Market Center's Advisory Board, according to Palmer.

"In scheduling this event, we listened to the needs of our exhibitors and buyers, and evaluated the domestic and international calendar to ensure we were complementing the existing schedule of industry events,€VbCrLf said Palmer.

In addition to the main campus covering nearly 1.7 million square feet of  permanent and temporary showrooms and exhibit space, World Market Center's January 2006 show will also accommodate several hundred temporary
exhibitors at other venues in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas market  will also include an international
pavilion which will feature shows such as Interior Lifestyle USASM, which is co-produced  with Messe Frankfurt and includes the best of Heimtextil and Ambiente, the European shows.

Furthermore, World Market Center is in
discussions with other global trade show organizers who have expressed interest in participating in the January 2006 Las Vegas Market, Palmer said.

"In order to accommodate increasing demand from the industry we have procured all available large scale exhibition space in Las Vegas during our Market's time
period,€VbCrLf said Briana Mackey, World Market Center director of market operations.

"Las Vegas Market will truly be a city-wide event next January.€VbCrLf Officials said the selected Market week dates are a "window of opportunity€VbCrLf during this otherwise busy convention period in Las Vegas. The market executives said there will be ample temporary exhibition space
as well as a large selection of well priced hotel options for attendees.

Currently under construction, World Market Center is an integrated home and  hospitality contract furnishings showroom and exhibition complex serving the
United States and international markets.

The first building, a 10-story complex, is  already fully-leased to 230 companies. Permanent
showrooms include  furniture, decorative accessories, lighting,  rugs, home textiles, and related segments, as well as a Design Center open year-round to the
trade.

Rug tenants include Abbyson, Capel, Dalyn, General Industries/Fun Rugs, Jerry Aziz Oriental Rugs, Masterlooms, Peel & Co., Safavieh and UMA Enterprises.

In conjunction with the tenants at the main campus, nearly 400 more exhibitors are expected to participate in World Market Center's inaugural Market week  July 25 to 29
at two official temporary venues: World Pavilions on-site and World Marketplace at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
