SECAUCUS, N.J. -- The Rug Show, a high-end area rug show launched nearly 10 years ago with a signature annual gathering at New York City's Javits center, announces a return next February at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey, scheduled for Feb. 16-18, 2022.

The Rug Show's future was uncertain following the death of show organizer Ramin Mobayen in January 2020. Mobayen, who helmed Mobayen Rugs, Beverly Hills, California, managed The Rug Show, founded by members of a non-profit industry association comprised of producers, importers and wholesalers of handmade area rugs, to better promote and expand the interests of the industry.

Launched in 2012 the show had grown dramatically by the fall of 2019, which was its largest event in the show's history and included more than 50 of the world's most prestigious labels, both domestic and from abroad.
