TAYSE RUGS ANNOUNCES MAJOR EXPANSION WITH ACQUISITION OF NEW GEORGIA FACILITY
 Tayse will begin transitioning to this newly acquired facility in Calhoun, Ga., in January 2018, quadrupling the capacity of its current warehouse and corporate headquarters.

CALHOUN, Ga. -- Tayse Rugs has acquired a new facility in Calhoun, Georgia, right off Interstate 75 and less than a mile from the company's current headquarters. The new facility gives Tayse over four times the capacity of its previous location.
"With over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space with 40- to 60-foot ceilings, the main building affords a tremendous increase in storage, as well as office space for over 250 employees," explained Jay Dogan, CFO and COO, Tayse Rugs.
The new Tayse warehouse increases the company's storage capacity to 300,000 square feet, with room to expand on an 80-acre campus.
Dogan said that the new Tayse Rugs campus also includes a separate building for its Ada Home Décor furniture division, as well as a building dedicated to photography and promotional materials, allowing Tayse to better represent to customers the variety of styles and colors for which it has become known. Overall, this new campus will provide the ability to further expand Tayse's offerings in many new upcoming collections and products.
A separate building houses a photography studio and Tayse's Ada Home Décor furniture division.
"This new location also has 80 acres (around 320,000 sqm) of flat land that will accommodate the addition of new buildings and warehouses if needed in the future -- which is one of the main reasons why we picked this property," Dogan said.
Tayse anticipates the transition period of moving to the new campus to begin in January, 2018. "The new building is only a short distance from our current headquarters, so the transition should be a swift and incident-free one," he said.
The fast-growing company celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2015. That year, Tayse Rugs also opened a new, expanded showroom in High Point, N.C., and added its first showrooms at the World Market Center in Las Vegas and in the New York Home Textile Building at 295 Fifth Avenue.
