Oriental Weavers Unveils Dramatic New IHFC Showroom

OW’s High Point showroom makeover offers expanded product choices with 800 rugs on show in an inspiring, functional and comfortable setting.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Oriental Weavers unveiled its redesigned High Point showroom, space IHFC G-276, in the International Home Furnishing Center’s Green Building at the spring 2024 edition of High Point Market. OW is celebrating the showroom renovation with a Grand Opening Party on April 15, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

The showroom has been completely reconfigured and updated to create a more inviting and visually appealing atmosphere and to showcase an expanded inventory of 25 percent more area rugs, offering a wider variety of styles and colors to meet every design need.


OW's renovated showroom offers plenty of areas for buyers to relax while shopping an expanded assortment of rugs.

“We’ve created a space that not only showcases a broader selection of our rugs but also fosters a more comfortable and engaging shopping experience,” said Jonathan Witt, OW president. Indeed, the redesign has added an enhanced comfort component with a dedicated entertainment area with bar and lounge seating that allows customers to relax, enjoy refreshments, and take their time browsing the extensive rug collection.

“We can now display 800 rugs,” explained Andy Brumlow, OW VP product development, who oversaw the showroom makeover. "We just wanted to freshen up our showroom. We really like our space here at IHFC – everybody knows where we are, but we’ve lightened up the walls to freshen the showroom up, we opened up two windows to let in natural light. And we added 300 more arms so we now can showcase 800 rugs here. This is now our largest showroom -- the most rugs we can show in one showroom."


OW added 300 more arms and now showcases 800 rugs at its High Point showroom, making it the largest OW showroom.

Brumlow continued, “We added a nice bar in the back of the showroom; the back area had been very dark and we really didn’t use it much before. So we turned it into a really nice bar and lounge area. We can serve food, coffee, drinks at night, and if there’s something interesting on TV, like the Masters this market, they can watch it here in our showroom.

"It’s functional, there’s now a straight line of sight to the back of the showroom, we can feature 800 rugs, and it’s all light and bright with a really nice bar at the back.”


The new OW added a entertainment and lounge space in the rear of the showroom, which added two windows for natural light.
