MILAN -- Among the hundreds of design events and exhibitions, anchored by Salone Del Mobile furniture fair, during Milan Design Week, June 6-12, design brand Moooi, co-founded by prolific designer Marcel Wanders, presented its latest furniture, decor and carpets in a multi-sensorial exhibition titled Life Extraordinary.

Located at Salone dei Tessuti, Via S. Gregorio 29, Moooi's event showcased four interior moods comprised of the company's home pieces in an augmented reality exhibition. The themes included the pink-hued landscape of Beauty Blooms; the "submerged" in the deep waters Defy Gravity; and Paper Play, inspired by folded paper. Moooi collaborated with design brands IDEO, LG OLED and artist Ada Solo, all included in the exhibition.

At the event Moooi Carpets rolled out a range of new Signature carpets by four different designers: Swedish design collective Front, Italian designer Christina Celestino, British designer Kit Miles, and Dutch designer Sjoerd Vroonland.

With headquarters in the Netherlands, Moooi launched its carpet division in 2015, creating its designs using high-definition printing techniques.

The Serpentine collection by Front toys with concept of paper: cut, twisted and organic.

The Mediterranean collection by Cristina Celestino celebrates Southern Europe’s surreal landscapes, and above, the
Marina design includes a garden-like design surrounded by tile work.

British designer Kit Miles’ abstract Akira collection of broadloom and rugs for Moooi features an abstract, "blurred"
design. Shown in vermillion colorway

The Sand collection by Sjoerd Vroonland is inspired by playing in the sand, creating lines, shapes, and patterns.
