NEW YORK, N.Y. – Momeni, a third-generation, family-run leader in rug and carpet manufacturing, joins the 2026 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse as a Patron sponsor, outfitting six designer spaces at One Monroe Place with rugs and custom carpets. The house is presented by the Brooklyn Heights Association (BHA) whose mission is to preserve the neighborhood’s architectural legacy; it opens to the public October 2 through November 1.
Momeni worked in collaboration with six designers: Hallie Goodman, Llewellyn Chupin, Studio Olivine, Isy's Interiors, SRF Interiors and Stollar Fearins Welch. Through sample selections at Momeni's New York City showroom, trips to its New Jersey headquarters to hand-pick one-of-a-kind pieces, and walkthroughs at the house itself, the Momeni team helped each designer find the right foundation for their vision.
Their selections span the full breadth of the brand's offering: made-to-measure broadloom from its in-house custom cut-and-sew program, ready-to-ship area rugs, the bestselling Novogratz x Momeni ICON collection, and a curated one-of-a-kind rug.
"Momeni was founded right here in New York City, and more than 50 years later, the tri-state area is still home for our family and our business," says Reza Momeni, CEO, Momeni. "One Monroe Place has been part of Brooklyn's story since 1852, and the Brooklyn Heights Association has spent more than a century protecting homes just like it. We're proud to champion that mission, and to see our rugs underfoot in rooms by some of New York's most impressive designers."
Added Kian Momeni, head of broadloom, at Momeni,"A show house is where designers take their biggest creative swings, and our job is to make sure the floor is never what holds them back. Whether it was broadloom custom-cut to the inch, an in-stock rug ready to ship, or a one-of-a-kind carpet pulled from our New Jersey showroom, we wanted every designer to feel they had a true partner, from first sample to install day."
Below are highlights of the Momeni rugs that 2026 Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse designers incorporated into their rooms.
Hallie Goodman -- quietLOUDquiet Primary Bedroom & Walk-In Closet

Designer Hallie Goodman selected
Momeni's custom Harrison rugs in a soft taupe supply a quiet, calm, tailored foundation.
Hallie Goodman’s primary suite is a visual interpretation of the quiet-loud-quiet music formula popular in 90s grunge music. The designer pairs a quiet foundation of stately classics with unexpected, playful details that read as raucous. A sculptural fireplace and lighting paired with bold accents infuse energy and personality to the otherwise serene space.
Momeni's custom Harrison rugs in a soft taupe supply the quiet, a calm, tailored foundation that lets the room's loudest moments sing. Says Hallie: “This room had dark, very busy wood floors, and the rugs act as a complete palate cleanser.”
Llewellyn Chupin -- The Drawing Room

The drawing room, where guests traditionally gathered after dinner, was designed by Llewellyn Chupin, who selected
Momeni's Anton rug in ivory.
Traditionally, the drawing room was where guests gathered after dinner for conversation, reading, music and rest. Llewellyn Chupin reimagines that domestic ritual for contemporary life. A continuous, low banquette wraps the room's entire perimeter, while mirrored walls expand the modest footprint.
With everyone seated closer to the ground, the floor becomes part of the experience, and a pair of Momeni's Anton rugs in Ivory keeps the restrained palette soft and inviting underfoot. “I chose a soft ivory carpet from Momeni because I wanted the floor to act almost as a continuous, quiet foundation for the room,” she says. “Because the banquette wraps around the perimeter of the room, I wanted the floor to read as one uninterrupted plane rather than as a separate decorative element placed within it. The carpet visually grounds the entire composition while also making the room feel more intimate and comfortable.”
Studio Olivine -- Corner Bedroom
Studio Olivine layered two rugs the corner bedroom choosing a custom Taos rug in beige with an 8x10
one-of-a-kind layered on top.
Hannah Blumenthal of Studio Olivine set the tone for this leafy, treetop-level retreat with floral silhouette wallpaper on a blue ground that connects the room to the sky and swaying branches outside. Drawing heavily on British design, Blumenthal sourced an antique dresser, a bamboo étagère and bedside tables made in London expressly for the Showhouse.
Her Momeni selections share that collected spirit: a custom Taos rug in Beige paired with a one-of-a-kind rug she hand-selected at Momeni's New Jersey showroom. “We wanted our room to feel like a cozy and peaceful cocoon where one could escape the chaos of city (and showhouse!) life,” says Hannah. “Our broadloom is a textured woven that immediately brings a sense of calm and coziness to the space. The beige and cream tones in the rug perfectly blend the warm white and natural wood tones of the furniture, wallpaper, trim paint, and drapery fabric. As the largest single piece in the room, it sets the tone in a lovely way.”
Isy's Interiors -- Room 10, Children's Bedroom
Isy's Interiors opted for pairing Momeni's custom-cut Arden rug in light blue and a 5x8' Scandi rug in blue.
Isy Runsewe of Isy's Interiors turns the studio's signature layering of color, texture and old paired with new toward a bedroom built for a child's imagination. The scheme sparked from a single discovery, Schumacher's Beasts wallpaper, with vintage and antique-inspired furniture, bespoke upholstery and soft window treatments grounding its pattern and color so the room feels collected rather than overly coordinated.
Momeni supplied the base layer, walking the studio through measuring for a custom-cut rug that covers the house's existing floors. "Hiding the existing floor color was key to making our design work," says Runsewe. The result is a room that is joyful without being juvenile, and soft enough to live on: "You feel like you could sit on the floor and play or read for hours."
SRF Interiors -- Room 15, The Snug
SRF Interior's family room included two Momeni custom-cut Sari broadloom rugs in brown.
Sarah Rinehart Fleischer calls this tucked-away space off the family room The Snug, borrowing the British term for a small, private room meant for winding down with wine, a good book or a record playing low.
To bring warmth and light to the house's cool, dark gray floors, Fleischer turned to Momeni's Sari broadloom. "I wanted a rug that was more exciting than just an ivory carpet - and Sari is just that. Still a neutral but flecked with beautiful hints of color," she says. The partnership already extends beyond the Showhouse: "I cannot wait for our next project and have already specified options for clients!"
Stollar Fearins Welch -- Rooftop, SFW Athletic Club
Stollar Fearins Welch picked featured the Novogratz x Momeni ICON 3 rug in green.
Rachael Stollar, Erin Fearins and Ward Welch take to the roof, transforming the sun-drenched terrace into the Stollar Fearins Welch Athletic Club, an imagined club where old-school East Coast elegance meets a spirited sense of sporting nostalgia. The club motto sets the tone: "This truly IS your grandmother's club."
A Novogratz x Momeni ICON rug anchors the seating area. "The Momeni rug is an integral part of the Stollar Fearins Welch Athletic Club's playful take on old-school sporting culture," say the designers. "Rather than simply echoing the sporting motif, the Momeni rug helps expand the story of the space: it feels nostalgic yet fresh, polished yet playful, and creates a distinct focal point for the seating area below the pergola."
