FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- LSI Flooring has announced a comprehensive refresh of its patented Unsquashable Padding line, building on momentum from the company's recent launch of three specialty rug pad products and reinforcing its position as a growing force in the rug pad and carpet cushion category.
The refresh follows LSI's introduction of PetiBarrier Carpet Cushion, PetShield Rug Pad, and StayPut Outdoor Rug Pad, a trio of trademarked, innovative specialty products that expand the company's rug pad reach into the pet-owner, residential, and outdoor segments.

Unsquashable Core Line
The company's core Unsquashable high density polyurethane padding line has been significantly upgraded. All products now carry UL GREENGUARD Gold Indoor Air Quality Certification and CRI Green Label Plus certification and include antimicrobial protection, making them hypoallergenic and supportive of better indoor air quality in residential settings.
Key Product Updates
LSI's Unquasable Rug Pads are available in a variety of densities.
Ultra Plus has returned to 10 lbs. density, now in LSI Blue, with improved comfort underfoot and competitive pricing.
LSI 300 has returned to 12 lbs. density, produced in light grey, repriced for the contract market.
LSI 101 retains 16 lbs. density for extreme heavy-duty commercial environments, produced in light grey, at a premium price point.
New Step Above Residential Cushion is a 7/16" thick premium residential padding, produced in white, competitively priced.
NEW ADVANCED WARRANTY PROGRAM
LSI is introducing enhanced warranties across the Unsquashable line, providing rug retailers, workrooms, and showroom partners added confidence in the products' long-term performance.
A Lineage Built for the Industry
LSI's padding expertise spans three generations. President Larry Lane previously owned Rug Hold Company, acquired by Vantage Industries and Leggett & Platt. The Unsquashable products trace their origins to Daltonian Flooring (1984); LSI acquired Daltonian's Padding Division in 2022. All products are manufactured in the United States, with inventory stocked in Georgia.

Larry Lane explained that “The flooring industry should be aware that imitation products have begun appearing in the market. Only LSI Flooring's Unsquashable Padding products are the originally patented high-density polyurethane cushion.
