FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — LSI Flooring has introduced the Loft Design Series, a new addition to its Tisca Rugs made-to-order program, further expanding its presence in the custom rug market.
The Loft Design Series introduces two constructions: the Loft Design Rug and the Loft Border Rug. Available in 36 colors and 10 curated combinations, the collection provides a versatile palette suited to a wide range of interiors.
Crafted from a blend of European and New Zealand felted wools, the new Loft rugs offer a dense, tactile surface with natural resilience. In addition to their aesthetic qualities, the rugs are naturally hypoallergenic and easy to maintain, enhancing their suitability for both residential and commercial environments.
“This launch focuses on texture, craftsmanship, and material integrity, and follows a year of strong growth for the Tisca platform, which has gained recognition for its combination of hand-crafted quality, flexible design capabilities and sustainable production standards,” said Larry Lane, president LSI Flooring & Unsquashable Padding.
Reflecting key design directions for 2026, the Loft series emphasizes richly textured surfaces and nuanced colorations that create depth while offering practical benefits such as improved soil concealment. The result is a collection that balances refined aesthetics with everyday functionality.
Each rug is hand-made/hand-loomed to order, allowing designers to specify custom sizes (up to 19 feet 7 inches wide), shapes, and detailing including borders and linear accents.
Sustainability remains a cornerstone of the Tisca program, which also includes the Olbia collection and the Sisal/Jute Design Series
in addition to the Loft Design Series. The Olbia Pure Nature Collection is GOTS-certified and has received the Green Collection Award, underscoring LSI Flooring’s commitment to responsible sourcing and production.
