"We usually introduce a variety of constructions and price points in an assortment of styles to satisfy different dealers across the country," Cyrus Loloi, principal, told RugNews.com in an exclusive interview. "So while we will have the staples, we will have a good variety of different looks as well. Grays, blues, ivories, and distressed and traditional are still performing well, but we like to push the envelope introducing new constructions and designs. Also for summer, we have a bit more color and vibrancy."

Loloi pointed out the Javari collection, introduced in January, is a departure from the usual color palettes of the last few seasons. The line features distressed all-over patterns modernized through bold colorways such as lagoon and fiesta, berry and ivory, and charcoal and sunset. Made of a power-loomed polyester and polypropylene, Javari is the focus around which Loloi launched a special "Commit to Color" campaign prior to the Atlanta summer market (read full story).

 

"Javari has been really successful because it's a refreshing departure from the usual color palettes that have become common place," Loloi explained. "It features pretty distinct colors and what's encouraging is that it sold well at January markets and High Point, so retailers do have an appetite for color.

 

"Javari is a signature collection for us -- a statement in the rug industry that you can do color -- it can be done right and be sophisticated -- and if it is priced right, retailers will buy it."

 

Buyers in Atlanta and Las Vegas also will see five new Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines collections which had previously been introduced at High Point Market (read full story).

 

 

 

 

Everson is a vintage-inspired rug collection by Loloi, featuring deep, tonal colors. Hooked of 100 percent wool in India, the collection reworks traditional motifs.

 

 

 

Sophisticated patterns and soft colors define the traditional Legacy collection by Loloi. It is intricately hand-knotted in 100 percent wool.

 

 

 

Loloi debuts the new Odyssey collection, which features relaxed linear patterns with a tribal twist. Hand-knotted of viscose from bamboo and wool in India, the range is crafted by master artisans. 

 

 

 

The Petra collection by Loloi gives the shag a sophisticated feel. Machine-made of acrylic and polyester in China, Petra is soft and also made for durability.

 

 

Loloi offers the new vibrant and playful Remy collection for summer shoppers. Hooked in India of 100 percent wool, Remy is available in three-foot rounds and accentuated by tassels in vibrant color combinations.

 

 

 

Loloi premieres the hand-loomed Vaughn collection in Atlanta. Featuring speckled striations of wool and viscose across its plush surface, Vaughn sets a restrained and durable foundation with subtle tonal variances.
