Liora Manné's Revolution collection is crafted of recycled polyester fibers sourced from recycled plastic bottles,
with greyscale patterns made of 100 percent recycled content.
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Textiles and area rug designer Liora Manné rolls out her innovative REvolution Collection: REcycled & Reimagined, which features Mannés first collection using recycled polyester fibers.
A testament that beauty and sustainability can co-exist, all (RE) patterns are 100 percent recycled and all (RE*) patterns are composed of 70 percent or higher recycled materials. Honing a circular production process, fibers are sourced from recycled plastic bottles. This collection introduces 100 percent recycled content in greyscale with patterns named, Terazzo, Ombré Grey and Vista Grey created from harmonious blends of white and charcoal fibers. The (RE*) patterns include non-recycled elements, such as metallic, as seen on Graffiti Sensations with Metallic, which reduces the recycled percentage approximately 2 percent-3 percent.
Graffiti, a pattern offering a splash of color, offers patterns that recycle unused webbings back into the pattern. Made from 100 percent recycled materials, Graffiti allows for color in an otherwise greyscale collection.
Sensations includes designs that injects color into the patterns by employing unused webbings in the pattern.
All products are treated with nano silver particles that make rugs, fabrics and pillows anti-microbial.
Manné uses her groundbreaking trademarked Lamontage technique to create this socially conscious collection. The unique needle-punched patterns are made-to-order and the creative applications for high-performance material range from rugs, wall and ceiling coverings, fabric, pillows, decorative art and more.
