Karastan to Debut New Stacy Garcia Rug Collection at NFM

New York Designer Stacy Garcia launches her first area rug collection with Karastan Rugs, which will debut at Nebraska Furniture Mart in September.

CALHOUN, Ga. -- Mohawk Home's Karastan label is rolling out a new collaboration with designer Stacy Garcia launching at Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) in September.

"Great to have Stacy on site getting photography and video done for our exclusive Nebraska Furniture Mart 'Stacy Garcia by Karastan' rug Launch on Labor Day," stated Michael Riley, SVP/GM Karastan Rugs at Mohawk Home,in a social media post. "Excited that NFM’s Nora Gomez (Gates) [chief merchandising officer, NFM], David Chambers [director of flooring, NFM], and Pattie Wojtkiewicz [flooring buyer, NFM] put this wonderful collaboration together."


Mohawk Home’s Karastan Rugs division coordinates a photo and video shoot with Stacy Garcia for their inaugural rug launch.

New York-based Designer Stacy Garcia, who founded her eponymous textiles, carpeting, wallcoverings, furniture and lighting design studio in 2004, added of the photo and video shoot produced to introduce her new Karastan rugs, "I had a great time with the Mohawk Industries and Karastan Rugs team today photographing for our new collection launch this fall.”
