First Safavieh Express Concept Store Opens at Stamford Town Center Mall

The new Safavieh Express soft-opened at the Stamford Town Center Mall yesterday featuring the company's Safavieh and Safavieh Couture brands of home furnishings.

Safavieh Express debuts at the Stamford Town Center Mall, a 750,000 foot shopping center, which is also owned by Safavieh.

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Safavieh opened its first Safavieh concept store, Safavieh Express, at Stamford Town Center Mall, on Dec. 10. The new store will offer the best of Safavieh and Safavieh Couture products, including a large assortment of area rugs, furniture, lighting, accessories and more.

As part of the Express concept, everything in the store will be shipped to any location in the Continental U.S. within three to seven days at no charge. Safavieh's staff of experienced professional designers will be on-site to provide complimentary interior design services.

"We opened our first Safavieh retail store in Stamford 32 years ago and we have deep roots in the Connecticut community. We are excited to continue our growth in the heart of Stamford at Stamford Town Center Mall. We created this store for the young community that has migrated to downtown Stamford, and which is moving to its new luxury buildings," said Michael Yaraghi CEO of Safavieh's retail division. Safavieh subsidiary Yaraghi Realty LLC purchased the Stamford Town Center Mall in the fall of 2020 from an affiliate of Taubman Centers Inc.
