MARY-KATEANDASHLEY BRAND TEAMS WITH SHAW LIVING FOR RUG COLLECTION AIMED AT THE TEEN MARKET
 Teen Super-Stars Mary-Kate and Ashley license a Shaw Living rug collection aimed at teens and tweens.

DALTON, GA. -- Teen super-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley have entered a licensing agreement with Shaw Living for a collection of rugs oriented to tween and teen girls.
The announcement was made jointly by Robert Thorne, ceo of Dualstar Consumer Products of Los Angeles and Jeff Meadows, vice president of Shaw Living.
Dualstar Entertainment Group is the international corporate group for the mary-kateandashley brand.
The Mary-Kate and Ashley Collection will consist of approximately 20 styles of area rugs. The designs include funky florals, bold geometrics and an assortment of other trendy motifs.
The printed nylon and shag area rugs will feature a vivid color palette of blue, purple, green, orange, pink and yellow.
The new collection of area rugs, targeted for girls 5 to 19 +, will debut at the Atlanta International Rug Market January 15-18, 2004.

Mary-Kate and Ashley were ranked the most powerful kid stars in the world by Forbes magazine (making the Forbes Hot 100 celebrity list) and were the subject of a cover feature story in Fortune magazine.
The mary-kateandashley brand products include girl-oriented products such as videos, video games, fashion dolls, books and fashion and beauty products.
